Extraordinary Treasures of Scotland

Welcome to SUEDlann, the Jewel House of Scotland.

SEUDlann creates extraordinary, precious objects of national significance for whisky collectors to treasure for generations.

SEUDlann sources the finest, rare and old bottlings and casks of Scotland’s original national treasure – whisky – and makes it extraordinarily rare and precious, by creating one-of-a-kind and Limited Edition Designer bottlings and cases. Each unique bottle and case design tells the stories of the landscape and legends of Scotland’s heritage, handmade by the world’s most talented craftspeople.

These museum-quality, Designer bottlings match the quality of the whisky within, and elevate it to a level of combined excellence and artistry rarely experienced in today’s world.

Every bottle and case is designed by SEUDlann Founder, globally-renowned Scottish-American Designer Maeve Gillies, Winner of World’s Best Design and Best Limited Edition at the World Whiskies Awards in London for her sterling silver and Orcadian sandstone Highland Park 50yo series, and creator of the Ardbeg ‘Aoibhinn’ 1974 bottling with Dr Bill Lumsden and Charlie Maclean, the World’s First all-Scottish Gaelic whisky bottle, a one-of-a-kind treasure made for St Columba’s Hospice ‘Life Live Ball’ Auction.

Maeve is also Founder of MaeVona NYC, the most prolific American Scottish-themed engagement ring brand, and creator of the World’s First 22ct Scottish Gold collection featuring Scottish Gold from the Tyndrum Scotgold mine for Hamilton & Inches. Maeve’s Scottish Gold design set with goldmine host rock was acquired by the National Museum of Scotland for their Permanent Collection in 2020.

An important new collector’s piece of jewelry set with Isle of Harris moonrock was created by Maeve in 2021 for An Lanntair in Stornoway, featured on the BBC and in The Scotsman, and was reviewed by revered Scottish writer and environmental activist Alastair McIntosh to be -

a profoundly important piece of great art...touching on the sacred. It opens up our eyes to the deeper realms of our humanity. Truly beautiful, powerful symbolism.”
